In this region, coffee grows on green plains near Akagera National Park, where sunny weather, balanced rainfall, and fertile soils support high-quality production. Coffees from this area are known for their fuller body and softer acidity, making them especially enjoyable and versatile.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"1223\" data-end=\"1566\"\u003eThis project was initiated by Tom Bagaza and his wife Sylvia, founders of Coffee Villages, who have spent years working alongside local smallholder farmers. Following their experience in coffee-related development projects, they set out to build a model focused on improving both quality and living conditions within the Taba coffee community.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"1568\" data-end=\"1912\"\u003eThe station, inaugurated in 2020, brings together more than 1,500 small farmers who cultivate and deliver their coffee to be processed using water from nearby hills.
