ABOUT THIS COFFEE

We call this coffee “Limón” because of its vibrant, citrusy acidity, balanced with the sweetness of caramel and the smoothness of honey. It comes from small farms of 1 to 5 hectares in Huila, Colombia, where the climate favors high-quality coffees with a charming profile. Produced in collaboration with Racafé, which supports farmers through training, sustainable practices, and fair payment, this coffee combines exceptional flavor with a positive impact on the local coffee community.

THE TERROIR OF PITALITO

Pitalito, in southern Huila, Colombia, is a high-quality coffee region, located at 1,318 m above sea level with an average temperature of 18–21 °C. Situated in the Magdalena Valley, between the Central and Eastern mountain ranges, it has been awarded multiple “Cup of Excellence” prizes and is part of an environmentally valuable area, protected for its natural richness and micro-watersheds.

RECIPE

We recommend preparing it either in a moka pot or as espresso:

18 grams of coffee, 28–30 seconds of extraction, yielding 38 grams in the cup, highlighting its sweet notes of milk chocolate, lemon, and honey.
