Descripción del Producto
Huehuetenango is located in the rocky highlands of western Guatemala, bordering Mexico. Thanks to the altitude and varied microclimates of this mountainous region, Huehuetenango coffee is known worldwide for its bright, crisp acidity.
Huehuetenango is located in the Cuchumatanes mountain range, whose highest point is known as "The Tower," reaching almost 3,800 meters above sea level. Of Guatemala's three non-volcanic coffee-growing regions, Huehuetenango is the highest and driest. Thanks to the dry, warm winds that blow down the mountains from the Mexican plain of Tehuantepec, the region is protected from frost, allowing coffee to be grown in Huehuetenango at altitudes of up to 2,000 meters. The cool winds from the Cuchumatanes help moderate the temperature, which ranges between 20 and 24 degrees Celsius.
We recommend brewing it using a filter method, such as Aeropress, V60, or Moccamaster, with an approximate ratio of 1:17 coffee to water to enhance its sweet notes of chocolate, brown sugar, and green apple.
